Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. Her most famous role is famous for her performance as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy series 'Mom.' Calvano originates from California and first became attracted to gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano chose to pursue a career in acting. Her debut on screen was an episode in 2010 of CBS's 'NCIS. In the biographical crime drama movie J Edgar, she made her first appearance in front of the camera a just a few months later. In the ensuing years, she has made herself known as one of the best young actors in the current industry. In 2011, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award in the category of Outstanding Performance for Young Actresses between 11 and 15 because of her performance on NCIS. In 2013 she was nominated to win yet another Young Artist Award for her performance as a guest in the Disney XD comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was one of the principal cast members of 'Mom' in its initial three seasons, and also appeared in several episodes of the fourth season. In 2015, her role on 'Mom" brought her the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
